At Arthur Health, we believe that data-driven innovation is the key to transforming healthcare delivery. That’s why we’re proud to be featured in Microsoft’s announcement introducing new data and AI solutions designed to help healthcare organizations unlock insights and improve patient and clinician experiences.
As part of this initiative, Arthur Health is leveraging Microsoft Fabric, a unified analytics platform, to power predictive care stage models in partnership with Quisitive for the Ontario Workers Network (OWN). OWN is a provincial network of hospitals—including Ottawa Hospital—where experienced clinicians deliver world-class care to injured workers in their own communities.
Why Microsoft Fabric?
Healthcare organizations face a growing challenge: managing vast volumes of siloed, multimodal data—from electronic health records (EHRs) and imaging systems to medical devices and clinical notes. Microsoft Fabric addresses this challenge by offering a common architecture that integrates structured and unstructured data using open standards like FHIR, DICOM, and MedTech services.
For Arthur Health, this means we can:
- Unify data sources across OWN hospitals to create a single, governed data estate.
- Build scalable predictive models that identify care stage transitions and gaps in recovery.
- Enable real-time insights for clinicians and case managers to personalize care plans.
- Support research and outreach through OMOP analytics and patient engagement tools.
Empowering Predictive Care for Workers
Our predictive care stage models are designed to anticipate the needs of injured workers throughout their recovery journey. By integrating Fabric’s healthcare-specific capabilities with Arthur Health’s CareNexus Platform, we can:
- Detect early signs of delayed recovery or complications.
- Recommend timely interventions and referrals.
- Improve coordination between providers, case managers, and employers.
- Reduce administrative burden and enhance clinician experience.
This initiative aligns with our mission to deliver high-value coordinated care and supports OWN’s commitment to community-based rehabilitation led by expert clinicians.
Our partnership with Microsoft and Quisitive to deploy Fabric across the Ontario Workers Network reflects our commitment to predictive, data-driven care. By unlocking real-time insights, we’re empowering clinicians to deliver more personalized and proactive recovery pathways for injured workers.

A Future Powered by AI and Data
Arthur Health’s collaboration with Microsoft and Quisitive marks a significant step forward in our data and AI strategy. By embracing Microsoft Fabric, we’re not just modernizing our infrastructure—we’re laying the foundation for AI-powered care orchestration that is proactive, personalized, and scalable.
We’re excited to be part of this transformation and look forward to sharing more as we continue to innovate for the health and well-being of Ontario’s workforce.
